Pearl Button Paddlewheel Muscatine Iowa

After a full day of activities on Independence Day itself — including a pancake breakfast, a kid’s parade, another parade, the Soapbox Derby, a free concert by the Muscatine Symphony Orchestra, a block party with live music held by Missipi Brew (which starts on the 3rd!), and a bunch of surprise fun all held in the heart of our historic downtown and along our beautiful riverfront — grab your seat aboard the Pearl Button Paddlewheel for the fireworks. Our fireworks display is always incredible and a view of them from the Mississippi River while enjoying a ride on the only authentic sidewheeler currently in operation in the entire United States is to die for!

Boarding begins at 8 p.m. at the dock just one block from Muscatine’s historic downtown. The cruise launches at 8:30 p.m. and will end after the fireworks.

Tickets are $20 each and include one free drink. Call Mark Costello at 563-260-3170 to purchase tickets. You’ll want to get yours before they sell out!

See the event’s calendar listing on our website for more information!

(Not a boat person? No problem! There will be plenty of spaces along the riverfront to watch the fireworks from. Bring a lawn chair and make yourself comfortable!)
